Benchmarking Best Hiring Practices

In hiring, what do the extra-ordinary people do differently than the rest? Implementing changes in the thought process or routinely followed process is not very easy. Similarly, in context of hiring, there are 2 things to be looked at-

What the best hiring managers do differently and What the newly hired people did differently.

In the upcoming blogs, we will focus on second point. In this blog, let us focus on What the Best Hiring Managers Do Differently-

·Articulating expectations clearly: Hiring managers should clearly speak, write and describe the performance requirements of the job.

·Refuse to compromise on their demand for best fitted candidates: Getting the best people on the floor is the key to building a winning team.

·Full engagement in recruiting process: Hiring managers spend more time with candidates before, during and after the interviewing process,

·Value potential over experience: While the person hired needed to have the basic skills and upside potential is more important to the hiring managers,

·Modify the job to fit the right person instead of finding the right person to fit the job: Hiring managers are also open to attract and better meet the career needs of a strong person,

·Take full responsibility of the hiring done for a position: Managers are delegated with a responsibility of hiring a candidate so the manager will take his full responsibility for the results.

Automate Hiring Process

IT recruitment has become shockingly competitive, not only in India but in entire world.

First, resume materials need be optimized to make it through the labyrinth that is modern day Applicant Tracking Systems. From there, technical candidates need to explain their qualifications to (often non-technical) recruitment representatives in basic terms.

In next step, there is usually a progression through technical, cultural and problem solving evaluations. And with one stroke of bad luck somewhere in the mid, it could all crash down.

Considering that the path is enough to give even the most unexpected of technical candidates heartburn, the team at Infusive Solutions – an IT recruiting firm facilitating
.NET careers in New York City and around the Tri-state area – just released a fresh info graphic that explains some useful strategies to beat long and complex interview processes.

While there will always be some differences that candidates will need to identify and address, utilizing the key points in this visually engaging info graphic will afford viewers the foundation to confidently maneuver through many challenges of the technical interview until a talented offer is awarded at the end.
